6 reasons to help reduce worrying

In a world of forever increasing pressure. Here's six ways to handle and reduce this ever problematic anxiety.

1. Realize the waste in it:
There is no use of being worried about an event which is in the future and you have absolutely no control over. The wasted moments on thinking about what would happen in the future only come back in the future as moments of regret on having wasted time.

2.Getting worked up is in fact no work:
If we pool in the time we have already spent on worrying about things the resulting sum is gigantic and staggering at best. Worrying is an act which doesn't result in anything. Simply stating it isn't productive as it doesn't help a bit in facing the thing you are worrying about in the first place.

3.It affects other activities:
The state of mind we are in when we are full of worry is harmful for all our activities in our life. We cannot concentrate on the task at hand and end up messing it up. Our interactions with people around us become more negative and take us downhill, underlining the hazardous nature of incessant worrying.

4.Freedom to the negative imagination of our brain:
We posses a wonderful gift of imagination. The creative juices within us have the magic to craft marvelous wonders in the expanse of our brain. This imagination takes a turn for the worse and in the process we feed ourselves with hypothetical situations and absurd outcomes from one single thought of worry. This worsens our conditioning. Hence adding one more reason to stay away.

5.Affects your health:
It is scientifically proven that any thought in our brain triggers phyiscal reactionin our body causing the body to respond accordingly. Our health takes a hit at first worsening the situation we already are in. The glands in our body can be influenced by the thoughts we have. It is no rocket science to gauge that a person is worried from one look at his stature and the way he carries himself. A fit body requires a fit mind free of worry.

6.A mere distraction from your present tense:
You could be pursuing your hobby. Hanging out with your friends. Out on a jog. Many things to replace the futile habit of worrying. The precious seconds in the present tense trickle down the hourglass of time and you fill your quarters with guilt and ammunition for worrying more in the future. Only actions can help you overcome your troubles. Realising that no person in this world is free of problems knocking at their doorsteps. But you hold the power to bar the door or let them in and fester as worries

The solution - Ponder over these above reasons. Take a deep breath and create a priority list to tackle the things you can at this moment than worrying about the future. Take things in stride as and when they come. For now take action than worry.
